The Virtual Migration Environment is a set of two virtual disks that provide Office Project Server 2007 and Office SharePoint Server 2007 environments, sample content, and scripts design to assist customers with upgrade and migration from Office Project Server 2003 and Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 to Project Server 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010. The Virtual Migration Environment provides the tools and resources to assist with upgrade and migration and planning and preparation resources to determine upgrade approaches and address common issues.
The Virtual Migration Environment can be used to attach your existing production Project Server 2003 or SharePoint Portal Server 2003 databases for upgrade to Project Server 2007 or Office SharePoint Server 2007 or can be used with sample databases to test and understand the upgrade process.

Dans le classeur Excel ci-dessous les références de mappage des menus et du Ruban de SharePoint 2007/2010.

Ce classeur de référence de mappage des menus et du Ruban, les onglets des feuilles portent les anciens noms de menu et de barre d’outils de MOSS 2007. L’ordre des classeurs pour les menus correspond à celui de l’interface utilisateur par défaut (Fichier, Edition, etc.).

Les barres d’outils sont classées par barres d’outils Standard et Mise en forme, puis par ordre alphabétique.

En cliquant sur un onglet en bas de la fenêtre, vous pouvez rapidement passer à une autre feuille de ce classeur.

Si l’onglet de la feuille souhaitée n’est pas affiché, cliquez sur les boutons de défilement de la feuille situés en regard des onglets pour passer rapidement d’une feuille à l’autre.

Vous pouvez également cliquer avec le bouton droit sur les boutons de défilement pour afficher la liste des feuilles du classeur.

imprimer tout le classeur

Par défaut, ce classeur est configuré pour que seule la feuille active soit imprimée lorsque vous cliquez sur Imprimer en mode Backstage. Si vous souhaitez imprimer tout le classeur, procédez comme suit :

Cliquez sur l’onglet Fichier, puis sur Imprimer (ou appuyez sur Ctrl+P).
Sous Paramètres, cliquez sur Imprimer le classeur entier.
Cliquez sur Imprimer.

Il s’adresse à toute personne sans expérience particulière sur SharePoint, souhaitant bénéficier d’un tour d’horizon complet de la brique de base de la gamme et il ne nécessite aucune compétence de développeur : les fonctions mises en œuvre dans les exemples ne contiennent aucun code et ne nécessitent pas de programmation. Après une présentation de la gamme SharePoint et de la terminologie autour du produit, l’auteur parcourt l’installation puis l’administration. SharePoint 2010 apporte incontestablement un grand nombre de nouveautés, parmi celles-ci l’on peut retrouver le service Visio. Les fonctions clé de ce service :

Visualiser les fichiers Visio dans le navigateur

Utilisation des fonctions de zoom

Récupérerles mises à jour de données connectées au diagramme

Plus besoin d’avoir Microsoft Office Visio ou encore le Viewer Visio installé pour pouvoir bénéficier des fonctionnalités de celui-ci. Il convient juste de publier un fichier Visio dans une bibliothèque SharePoint et d’utiliser le composant Webpart Visio.

Au même titre que les Excel Services offert par la version de SharePoint 2007, les fichiers Visio peuvent désormais être visualisés directement dans le navigateur.

En conclusion, cette version 2010 apporte réellement de nombreuses améliorations, tant du point de vue des corrections sur les fonctionnalités dont l'implémentation posait problème dans la version 2007 : par exemple la double saisie des temps entre la Feuille de temps et l'affichage Mes tâches, que par les fonctionnalités entièrement nouvelles.

Ces nouvelles fonctionnalités et l'incorporation totale de Project Portfolio font de Microsoft EPM 2010 une version très attendue par tous professionnels concernés par la gestion de projets.

The controls we are about to use can all be found to the left of the Design tab once you’re designing a form or report in design or layout view.

…Gemini vient donc concurrencer sérieusement QlikView. Destiné aux utilisateurs fonctionnels, il est assez simple d'utilisation et directement intégré dans Excel.

QlikView quant à lui garde une petite avance grâce à un choix d'objets graphiques un peu plus large et une personnalisation des scripts de chargement un peu plus forte. Mais ce dernier argument ne pèse peut être pas autant pour un utilisateur non technique qui recherche avant tout la simplicité.
N'oublions pas que Gemini reste une beta de version 1 ( Nb: QlikView est en version 9). Il reste donc surement des choses à découvrir avant la sortie de la version finale prévue pour le premier semestre 2010... To be continued...

La prochaine réunion du Club MOSS (SharePoint) France se tiendra le 14 septembre prochain dans les nouveaux locaux de Microsoft. Outre SharePoint, cette réunion sera l’occasion de commencer à parler de la sortie d’Office 2010. On y parlera donc également un peu de SharePoint Workspace 2010
